the company hold a team building session at cookyn.inc. the session was very fun and i get to know more cols in other departments especially the sales team. they are really a bunch of fun loving ppl. i enjoy the company and learn to cook some spanish dishes at the same time.
i guess our team is pretty big as i think there is about 30 of us attended the session ( there are some of them couldnt make it ). and we get to meet our new GM during this session too. we broke up into 3 different groups and each group doing different type of cuisine. i m group to do Spanish , while the other are Japanese and Vietnamese .
the session took half a day where every group is suppose to prepare 3 dishes for 30 pax. and we are given a mentor to guide us, a recipe to follow and the ingredients + utensils to use. in our own group, we seperated ourselves into smaller group to do 1 dishes each. and we are given 2 hrs to prepare and cook. also 30 mins to do up a campaign to sell our food. i am quite lucky so i get to prepare the salmon dish haha.
the dish is quite easy to prepare
1.u prepare the paper ( cant remember what is called) / aluminum foil.
2.take a piece of salmon
3.rub the front and back with black pepper and salt
4.take diced bell pepper and sprinkle it on top
5.take diced german sausage to sprinkle it on top
6.take some cherry tomatoes and sprinkle it on top
7.put some butter on top as well
8.then wrap it nicely like a curry puff shape, leaving a small hole
9.put 2 table spoon of white wine into it and close the hole
10.send it for baking to 12-15 mins depending the size of your salmon
then is finish! easy right? haha
so here is our hard work for the day!
our spanish team came in first that day, we walk away with 1 woodon spoon + 60 bucks taka voucher. we ended our team building session with a guided tour to their garden. they share with us some vegetabes that they planted. interesting n fun day for me.
