136 Old hong kong street zi char is the name of the restaurant. i would say the chief really add in a lot of effort to make each dishes delicious and look appetizing. this restaurant is highly recommended by the tv sitcom - Zu cao lai le.
i would say the food is really yummlious and the price is reasonable. the only thing that puts me off is the location of the restaurant. hahha. well, it is located at 291 south bridge rd. just opp the buddha relic temple. very near maxwell market. WHY I FEEL THIS WAY? PARKING is an issue as there are limited lots available there. the white shirts aunties and uncle always on the lookout if your parking coupon expired. therefore if you want to eat there, remember to put sufficient coupons and also you will need to be patient as the restaurant is very pack during dinner time.
prawn paste chicken. nt salty and is very crispy.
fish head steam boat. very generous with their ingredient.. fish is very fresh and the soup is very well done.
fermented bean curd stirred fried vege. i love their vege!
mongolia style bean curd. thsi is wat we came for. their special made bean curd. yummy. the bean curd is very crispy from outside but soft inside. yum
overall, i would say the lunch is fantastic except a little heavy. =). after that we headed down for a little shopping of clothes which i will post it in another entry. =P
