a 4 course fine dinning for the night. the price is about 80 bucks per pax i think. a company dinner event held at the Scarlet Hotel. The place is situated near maxwell market.quite surprise that there is a boutique hotel there.
we are able to choose from the list of variety from the menu and this is what i had for the night..
the food is nice and yummy. i love it.
starter
Chilled prawn gazpacho - with freshly cooked prawns, avocado cucumber mint salsa and mango sauce.
~ from the description, already make u drool right? i dun know why i have developed love for salsa saurce..yum.
Main course
seabass fillet- pan seared with Mediterranean spice on seasonal vegetables monts in herb butter ~ looks very simple for a dish but i think the effort to cook it is huge haha. anyway the fish is well cooked. the meat is not tough at all.
mushroom risotto - sauteed wild mushrooms and risotto in truffle infused cream sauce topped with shaved permesan cheese ~ probably this is the only one i dun really like. i choose this among the rest as i dun take beef and i dont want to be too full. but this dish is too creamy for me which i take a few mouth and i feel so full. =(
deserts
hazelnut mille fauille - layers of hazelnut mousses with salted caramel ~ haha..my favorite..haha..as usual. i love desert.
of cos not forgetting the most important - wine! i love wine..preferred wine over beer actually haha. so white wine for all of us. i actually like the glass that they used to serve the wine hehe.
