well, this trip is very much to remember as is many of my first time.
1 - first time in phuket
2 - stranded in the air as the weather is so bad to land
3 - first time i been to a beach resort where i see no sight of sun for 5 days - monsoon...storm in the sea..omg
4 - 20 degrees Celsius at a tropical country
5 - first time experience total black out at the resort as one of the power cables got badly hit by the "bad" weather
6 - first time i been to a beach resort where i din get to swim or even touch the seawater. the sea is like having their PMS everyday
7 - first time i bought a pancake lens for oly and i din get to shoot much. lucky i did not bring my Niky...heng ah
8 - first time i take little pictures of myself as i am having a bad face day for 5 days ( pimples) and i feel so fat =(
9 - first time i take silk air and i still prefer qatar haha
10 - first time i had the same breakfast for 4 days
11 - first time i go shopping without buying anything back...
12 - first time self drive in a country other than my usual road trips to malaysia
13 - first time i go to someone 's resident's restaurant for lunch - sounds like a gd idea for business ya?
14 - first time i need to photoshop all my pictures to conceal my pimples..haiz..
nevertheless, i try to bring back pieces of phuket as part of the memories for this trip.
air plane - silk air offers very gd deals for air fare this time. the food they serve is quite nice. i love their nasi lemak. i remember the last time i took SQ to jarkata, i took the same thing too. since they are both the same company, i reckon it would taste as gd ya? haha..
it is about 1 hr plus flight to phuket.and if you see the weather from the picture below, the weather looks gd right? but sorry...the weather is having a super bad flu down there
tv is too small to watch for me lah..and i dont get to choose the show i want to watch. so everyone watches the same thing - Mr Bean and then some joker show
before touched down, already greeted by the bad weather. so u get to see floods everywhere. took about 25 mins to reach the resort
the resort is chava resort. is a 2 bedroom apartment that comes with full facilities -> kitchen and some, it comes with a washing machine where u can wash your clothes. overall, i am quite happy with the resort.
i love the king size bed lol...

dinner @ surin beach - look at the waves....scary right?
yummy lunch but the surrounding..erhmm...dun think u feel very comfortable eating there loh..very dirty with flies (big ones flying around). strange but food in this environment taste really good!
resort in room dinning - lunch...somehow i feel, pak siew taste better than pak tai
dinner at patong beach - u get to choose your own seafood
look at the waves at night! still angry as ever

dinner at kata beach - dinner by the sea and watching the pathetic sunset
drinks in phuket comes in bottles (mostly)..even soy milk...yum

as the weather is really bad, we couldnt really do much things while we were there too...
premium outlet - so many shops selling cheap clothes n yet nothing catches my fancy...
visits to temple - ya. went there as really a tourist..not for religion..so pictures only

visit to the kata beach to watch sun set but the sun is covered by the clouds..so no sun set

overall the trip is quite fun except for the bad weather. i would say if the weather is gd then it will be a perfect trip. a little pity that we din get to do water sports during this trip as i know phuket is best place for sea sports like snorkeling and diving..and even island hopping. although i din buy much stuff but i am happy with my 17mm purchase. always comtemplating on getting one. since at the changi airport, i visited 2 shops and each qoute me a different price. one shop is qouting 400 plus ( lens only) and 250 for purchase with purchase ( PEN). another one is quoting me 250 bucks only. of cos i took the latter..haha..so i only paid 250 for my 17mmm f2.8. also pity i din really take good pictures this time round as the weather condition is really making it very difficult to do so. hopefully i can take nice pictures with the new lens for my next trip.
hopefully will plan another trip there when the weather is better.
i love to travel and i love my PEN..btw, all pictures are taken using my new 17mm. see the sharpness? love prime lens haha

Phuket island has so many fantastic beaches which will make a lot of attention from the tourists who visit the island.
