of food hunt @ RWS Malaysia food street

this time round, we do it in a group. heard n read so much on this malaysia food street that i really want to try their local delights. so i gathered my cousins n fur to join me in this food trip. we almost completed all the food tasting this time.

malacca famous chicken rice
verdict : the rice ball is one bite size and 5 balls cos 1.50. the rice ball taste ok only. the chicken cost 15 bucks for half a chicken which i think is very expensive. the skin of the chicken is yellow compared to those we have normally. overall, so so only. i prefer uncle wee's chicken
clay pot rice
verdict : omg, we waited 1 hr for this! they cooked it using the charcoal stove. so they claim is it taste better. when we ordered, there isn't any salted fish left so we have to get one without the salted fish. it cost 6 bucks for non-salted fish. we were disappointed with the clay pot rice as the rice isn't fully cooked, the meat is so tough. FAIL!!!!! the clay pot rice at geylang is much better
roti prata + nasi brani
verdict : the chicken nasi brani is quite spicy but overall is still ok. but the roti prat a FAIL badly. the one at my place taste so much better
ampang yong tou fu
verdict : the one that i had last yr is much better.
prawn noodles
verdict : the broth is nice and i guess this is one of those that taste better lol
wanton noodles
verdict : not bad but i still prefer the pontian wanton noodles
some other pictures taken
overall, the food is over price and i don't really like their food cos some of it really taste bad. the place is fully packed probably due to new concept. and yes, i won't go back again. we will go to their actual ones in Malaysia instead
all food pictures are taken using PEN and mostly by my cousins
I love to eat and i love my PEN
