of life is good! dinner at the cliff

life is really good. i must thank CD for spending on me all the time. this time round we had dinner at the cliff ~ sentosa. dinner is really good and yummy and a very romantic place where you enjoy alfresco dinning while watching the sunset.

to show you i m really having dinner at the cliff..lol..you can see that the restaurant is built on the extension that is resting on the big tree?

haha. yesterday the weather was really good. cos i got to see the beautiful sun set. it paints the beautiful picture that i always wanted to see.

we selected the 6 courses meal which is about 188 ++ per pax. we also ordered wine for pairing. fine dining + wine tasting = life is really good and i feel so loved. so good to be alive

we were presented with a basket of bread for us to choose from. the bread is quite different from other restaurants as usually we are given olive oil + vinegar to go with but this one comes with olive oil + curry powder. and i must say it taste superb!

for starter, this is really good. i can't remember what it is though.

so out of 4 dishes, we get to choose 3. so we had the below
HOKKAIDO SCALLOP CARPACCIO*
truffle, champignon, cauliflower ice cream
this is good! the scallop is fresh and it blends well with the truffle, champignon and cauliflower ice cream!

next we had
‘TUNA MAYO’*
espuma on grilled tomato focaccia
i love this too. did i mention that tuna is my fav fish too? yum yum

and we had
FOIE GRAS A LA PLANCHA
nori purée, dashi broth, macerated mushroom, yuzu reduction
this is good. we both love Foie gras. crispy on the outside but melts in your mouth in the inside

our main course
initially i had fish but i exchange with CD in the end muahaha cos i feel that his main course taste better lol
