I think many would prefer to travel back to the future ya? It
is a corporate event where the staff requires to bring the children from MINDS
for the dinosaur exhibition at Singapore Science centre. It was a half a day
event where we get to spend some time with the kids. Through this event, I really learn a lot (not
from the dinosaur exhibition) on how fortunate we are and the kid’s strong will
to blend into the society. We shouldn’t look or judge people just because they
are different from us.
Anyway, about the dinosaur event, to me, it is a little
waste of money as we paid about 20 bucks for 1 adult to enter the exhibition
hall (but you can enter as many times on the same day itself). The exhibition hall is very small, with some
moving dinosaur robots. So it only takes about less than 30 minutes for you to
complete the whole area. =(. Of cos, if you really want to make your money
worthwhile, you can walk multiple times? You can’t really take good pictures in the
exhibition hall too as flash photography is not allowed at all. So imagine
those with point n shoot cameras…so lucky for those who uses DSLR. Lol.
Somehow I feel, walking with dinosaur seems better haha. At least
you get to see the dinosaur moves than shaking the head and tail, roaring and
flapping it wings.
Here are some of the miserable pictures of the dinosaurs
lol.
After walking tru the exhibition, we got to watch the fire
tornado show. This is interesting. Remember the fire “torch” we had during the
youth Olympics that was held in Singapore 2010? They “shift” the torch to the
science centre and turn the whole thing into a fire show instead. The host
actually gives a clear explanation on how this fire tornado thing works and we
get to experience it right before our eyes.
I can only say “science and technology is something beyond you can
imagine” I really took my hat off on those with this concept during the youth Olympics.
i actually took a full video of the event but the file is too huge to upload. haiz.
