of Happy birthday to me....

haha. sounds funny right? yes. this is the first time i m not celebrating my birthday with LL since we got together and even with my family cos we are miles away...

this post is not about what i m doing today but what i did yesterday lol. as usual, i stayed in the apartment, clean up the house, wash the toilet, cook my meals . a very typical housewife thing lol. seriously, i quite like it too. i cook dinner and invited Jun over. is always nice to have company for dinner. and this is what i look forward to when i m bk in Singapore lol

so i made milo pancake again..but this time is only for 1 pax..cos LL is not ard to share with me =(

for lunch, it is simple...decided to have vege porridge. is quite simple to prepare actually. just need to cook the cabbage, mushroom and carrots plus rice. u can add some chicken stock to make porridge taste better

then i mop and sweep the floor and rest awhile before heading out of the house lol...i think i m like a hermit when i m alone? lol

did a little shopping at power plant. bought some food , cosmetics from shu uemra and toiletries for cleaning the toilet. cosmetics here is quite expensive here..i spend almost 300 on 6 items - 1 loose powder, 1 eye liner, 1 concealer , 1 brush for concealer and 1 pouch with mini brushes...=(
nt sure if it is the same price in Singapore but i think can get cheaper from best buy world ? sadly, i need it here..haiz

came hm and then start to prepare the soup as the soup needs to boil for some time.

tonight is carrot, potato soup - you need to boil the pork bones together with onion, carrots and potato. when the soup is almost done, u add some seasoning to taste. u can also replace pork bones with chicken bones. somehow i feel chicken bones taste better

vege - stirred fried ladies finger. simple. it is cooked with garlic. and i add fish sauce for taste. the ladies finger here taste a little old lol...

and for another dish we have steamed egg with minced pork. for this, i have 3 eggs beat evenly with minced meat, 2 teaspoon of soya sauce, 1/2 cup of water. water is critical here cos you don't want the egg to taste very hard. =)

our dinner for the night

we have a great time chatting ! thanks Jun for your company!

i love to cook and i love my PEN
