Well, this is definitely not the best i had so far but it is still worth the try =). The stall is located at Chinatown market and they are very famous for hk style steam song fishhead. Song fish is actually a fresh water fish and it takes skills to prepare as if it is not done properly, it will have a very strong "mud" taste. There are many stalls in Chinatown and i happen to chance upon this one. So i decided to give it a try after the super friendly auntie persuaded me.

We didnt order too much food. only 1 fish head and 2 side dish. the serving size is ok and we could barely finish it anyway.

Steam HK style song fish head

the fish is pretty fresh but the zup (sauce) is little too salty. Although i am trying my best to be health concious, but i find the chef is alittle too stingy with the pork lard lol.

Stirred fried nai bai. ok. nothing special to talk about. just normal stirred fry.

salted egg yolk chicken. Something special for this dish. the chicken is stirred fried with salted egg yolk and fully coated with milk powder that enhance the taste of the salted egg yolk. the chicken meat is very tender and juicy inside. would recommend this dish
