We love Shabu. full stop and nothing beyond that. Especially on a rainy day. i have been to Shabuya many times and we never get sick of it. This time, they are back with new variety of soup.

for those who love spicy stuff got to try their spicy miso soup. for non spicy loves, you can opt for their tonkotsu or soyu soup.

They offers set menus or ala carte for you to choose from. This time round ,we opt for their premium set menu which comes with salad, ebi tempura, chawanmushi, assorted vegetables, sliced cod fish, surimi fish paste, prawn. We can choose 2 type of meat from the list of following

  • wagyu short ribs
  • wagyu ribeye - we took this...and was really good
  • kurobuta pork belly - how can i forget this...my fav
  • kurobuta pork collar
  • chicken
  • lamb
you can also choose rice / udon / glass noodles / ramen noodles to go with your shabu too. for us, we took the glass noodles.

and at the end of it, u end the day with yummy desert

total cost of the premium set meal is $98 for 2 pax excluding GST and service charge

Overall
Food : *** personally, i dont fancy the spicy miso cos i find that it taste kinda weird with some of the dishes. but overall the soup base is ok
customer service : ** is a little slow
Cost : *** would consider slightly steep
will i come again? : Yes. to satisfy our shabu cravings when we are at vivo.
