I m one of the lucky 15 to receive a pair of tickets from OMY.sg to catch the preview of SOURCE CODE. I guess many would have guessed that this movie is related to programming codes (as we also refer to programming codes as SOURCE CODE too). U are partially correct. However, this movie is much more about it. The movie started off with a man walking up in a train; spend the last 8 minutes before the train gets blew up. And then this man wakes up again as a Captain of air force. Again and again, he was brought back to the same scenario to accomplish one mission using a technology name source code. It sounds very much like inception except the main lead goes back to the same location, same time and repeat whatever happens in the last 8 minutes before the train blew up. Initially the guy just wanted to get out of the mission and find out what exactly is happening to him. At the later part of the movie, he sees the mission as a greater importance – to save people. The movie gets a little confusing in the first place but slowly it becomes clearer and clearer as the story moves on. The whole movie comes with the suspense and surprise ending too. Seriously I am quite surprise by the way how it ended and I like the ending too. Overall, it is quite a good movie and 3.5 pop corns from me. Why 3.5? The plot seems to be bits and pieces of many movies that is pieced together (Inception + Matrix + Sixth Sense). But I do give some credits for the twists, the suspense and the surprise ending.
