of Ramen-ing @ Marutama

heard alot of raves about Ramen @ Marutama.i even thought of putting it as my last good meal before my wisdom tooth extraction..but then again, timing doesnt turn out well so..nevermind, LuffLuff brought me there for lunch.

The broth is cooked using chicken bones which is quite similar to the one in Manila except Marutama's ramen is much thinner ( like wanton noodles). the standard Marutama ramen comes with a piece of char siu and u can choose to add additional toppings like aijituke tamago (japanese soft boil egg) or additional char siu for a piece of 1.5 - 4 bucks depends on the type of toppings.

overall the noodles is very nice. something different from other ramenten.

us with our new colored hair. i added some red stripes lol and touch up the roots ..
the place is rather cosy hehe...

yaki char siu - $6. highly recommend. the char siu is very soft and not overcooked! u still taste the tenderness of the meat when u bite. not salty too except a bit fatty lol.

gyoza - 5 bucks. their gyoza is not pan fried. should b boiled and place in the vinegar. very nice too! some thing different from the normal ones

their ramen - $12. i add 1.5 for the ajituke tamago. i think in some places they only give half of it but this is 1 full egg and is really good! i love ajituke tam ago!

total damage 49.45 bucks for 2
