of Ronnie updates & The Founders of Bak Kut Teh

m bk. Ronnie looks like he is on his way to recovery. I brought him back for review yesterday and everything seems well. This morning, he took out the bandage on his leg himself, so i guess he is feeling better now except a little cry from him when he turn or when we touch his neck. else seems ok.

Today food post will be - The famous Founders of Bak Kut Teh. Seriously, i dont know who found or invented Bak Kut Teh but since they claim they are the founders of bak kut teh, so i guess they r the one la. else how to claim this title right?
I was told that Balestiar area is very famous for Bak Kut Teh and sadly i seldom go there until lately ( cos of Ronnie and also meeting up IDs). It actually happen coincidentally that one of the IDs that we visited that day is very near the Founders of Bak Kut Teh ( located at Rangoon Rd, actually is their branch). It was quite late at night and we were looking for a place for dinner after meeting up with the ID so we decided to settle there for dinner.
overall, the food is quite nice (but i still prefer the one at AMK Ave 3 - the market opp the swimming complex). Price is also quite reasonable . we ordered pig throttles, mei cai, bak kut teh -> total about 40 bucks.

the bak kut teh - not too strong peppery taste and the meat is quite tender.
Mei Cai - i find that it can be softer lol. cook longer maybe? probably also i have higher expectations for Mei Cai as both LL's mum and my mum cooks it well
Pig throtters - dont know why, i still prefer the one at AMK cos the dark soya sauce is better. =) nevertheless, this one is also as gd
